  for 4D, TOTO and Bigsweep, the 25% duties is on gross collection (not profit) hence it is wrong to classify them under profit in your calculation.

  most of those money goes into the big fat pockets of the management and distributed another large sum to the middle management to keep their mouth shut.
  
  and wadever dats left into charity.
  
  juz today a girl's home will need money to find a new place, and the 12 yr old to 18 yr old girls themselves have to start a fund raiser event tmr to raise money to save their home.
  
  part of their expenditures come from the government. and yet, they face being closed down. there doesn't seem to have any safety net for em, even with all those revenues every year.

  Singapore Pools earns so much and yet very one kind to employees. A relative who works for Singapore Pool is a transferred staff from Turf Club. Now union is fighting for profit sharing for these staff formerly from Turf Club, Singapore Pool doesn't wanna give them profit sharing. Wa, they earn so much yet so . . . . . Didn't the "good" gahmen of Singapore encourage employers to pay employees good bonus or whatever when the company makes $$$ and now they practice otherwise.
  
  Real sucker - they earn so much, it is the sort of business that requires no "ben qian" unlike other businesses.
