Constant increase in PUB bill, next 9% increase!

Wa, provision of utility is a lucrative business here. Less than a year we have 2 or 3 increases (including this coming one) already. The next increase will be about 9%. This is due to the price increase in higher oil prices.
Keep increasing utility bill. When oil prices drop they don't reduce the charge for utility or if they reduce the charge they do it at a much later time!! Absolutely absurd!!!
It is all about $$$$$ where our gahmen is concerned!!

Just received Pacnet's announcement of the increase.
that's like going to be an extra $0.66 per month for another six months. -
Actually, it is not true they lower their bill. With less use of electricity my household was billed more. They just come out with the figure they love and just send the bill. this is the way PUB charges the customers. I called them for explanation and they gave me crap. Others told me they encounter the same, too!! So!!!! Absolutely agree with you. Thank you fellow Singaporeans who vote the ruling party to constantly increase bills, and our cost of living. Thank you again, huh!!! So next time if you vote for pay and pay (non stop paying more and more until you leave Singapore), you have to tell yourself you are pleased and very happy with the way they "take care" of us and when they increase this and that don't complain for you people vote for them.
