Singapore is still very green............................lots of jungle.............but nobody knows this exept for soldiers...........
You still can get lost in the Singapore forest, perhaps find some undiscovered animal or plant species, or find some strange abandoned structures in the middle of the forest,........a friend even claimed he saw a railway line inside the Mandai forest.
Then of course, there is Yamashiita's gold hoard waiting to be found by some lucky soldier........
But nobody wants you to know all these secrets.........they want you to think Singapore is a concrete jungle.......why I don't know..... -

But Singapore is still full of concrete.
When you are in the forest, you are just a tiny speck. You will feel that the forest is huge.
When you are up in the air, you 'll have a bird's eye view.
The view is different from under the crowns of the forest. -

You can see this mysterious grave at the MacRichie Reservoir hiking path........but don't follow the walkway.........it's by the side of the water......
Appears to be grave of someone in the Manchurian Qing Dynasty.......what is he doing decomposing at MacRichie ? -

From my zoom lens, I realised there's a guy fishing illegally from this boat...and it's so remote the Police can never find him..........so if you got no house to stay, you can always squat in some remote river at Upper Pierce -

The picture u took at the place opposite Amoy quee camp? Can see Yishun/Sungei Seletar reservoir from there I think.
Actually none of these places are closed, all it takes if for someone to want to explore it.
Not sure mandai have abandoned train tracks but clementi have abandoned tracks and tunnels

Some people say these are the remains of a bridge leading to a massive Japanese temple in the macRichie forest. The temple was built to commemorate the Japanese war dead. To prevent it from falling into British hands, the japanese burnt the place down, and the jungle took over............maybe even got buried treasure there? has anyone seen the place or give more info......? -

Very nice scenic pics of S'pore. But if u look at the grass (not the jungle forest part), it looks like the National Parks people have cut them regularly.
So there are some people maintaining the parks and it just takes a phone call to 999 to chase out those illegals fishing or hiding in the jungle. -

If you take MRT from Yishun to SBW u will see this place. -
