  Wow, life's really getting better here. GST increase, transport fare hikes, SCV cable subscription hikes, politicians and the rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer.

  Ya, i also noticed very big different between the posts in stomp and sgForum, especially regarding gov policies.
  
  Somehow, in stomp, there are always quite a few die-hard PAP supporters giving lot of "standard answer" whenever I post any negative post there . Wonder if that guy hired by the gov or what.

  maybe the survery is given to all the govt dept staffs, so everyone will answer "carefully", say wrong thing wait lose their job.
  
  or better yet, there's no survery at all. ST just write what the govt wants to tell the public.

  Survey? To believe in their survey? Before we decide to believe in their survey, just ask yourself this - what is their purpose of this survey and what do they want to achieve by conducting this survey, are they trying to make people believe in everything they publish/say? Such survey, I will usually take it as a pinch of salt, not serious in believing the outcome of the survey.

  STomp belongs to Straits Times and Straits Times is under the control of the govt who make them work for them.

  Trying to be sarcastic here. NTUC in fact belongs to the government after all, even though it is just a labour union. Of course they can talior the taxes to twist the people's minds and go and buy 'government products' .

  They first told us.
  Malaysia is 5% and we should change from 3% to 5%.
  
  And now
  Europe country is higher than 10%. and we should going to 7% is OK.
  And will be lower than most Europe country even at 10%
  
  So if Mars have 50%. Think will be all right to say Singapore is cheaper.
  
  While Hong Kong is at 0%.

  They do it so well to make oppositions look so bad so much so to the extent that they seem criminals. It will do us good if we are willing not to be simple minded, but to exercise sound/right judgment, a bias free mind and understand the way the ruling govt work. Let's not be swayed by everything they do and say. Be wise to know what is what. So far, brainwashing works wonders for them!
