Lionnoisy's problem is that like a lot of PAP supporters, they do not believe the public is capable of doing anything without Govt intervention. So when they see the Govt is shit, they think the country is shit as well.
So while they belittle their own people, they forget that it is actually possible to survive wihtout a capable Govt.... The most creative populations in the world often have less than able Govts. A correlation none of these idiots will ever understand. -

I think the level of safetiness in HK is also comparable to here. It is also similar for the Hk people to migrate to other countries.

This is a sad sight with so much discontentment around yet the people on top failing to see. They so immersed with with the success we had in the 70s and 80s that they fail to realise that time has changed. If they continue to be in such self denial stage, continue to belittle their countrymen. They will realise one day, most of the more capable people had left, leaving their cronies and FT behind.

This is a very real scenerio, look at India for example they produce most of the brightest scientists,software programmers and now where are those people end up ? Professional Singaporeans too, are looking for greener pasture since their govt do not seen to treasure them. Many a bankers are now based in New York (hedge fund biz) and others moving towards Hong Kong and Shanghai. -

firstly, i've no comment.
secondly, $1 coffee at Changi Airport? it is considered expensive already. Coffee shops sells near 60 cents only. as you said, it is a HK airport, you can't expect an airport's food coujrt to sell that cheap. likewise to our airport's food court.

I'm sure on some planet your logic on 20,000 hits on your thread is very impressive, but your weak link is... this is Earth.
How can people know your two cents, if your posts could not be understood by most people due to your poor English and lack of expression by sheer copy-and-pasting is a question left to be answered by you.

There is a difference between bumping up your own thread by constant self-posting and having newcomers look at it out of curiosity and then laughing at you for your pitiful behaviour and then actually having people agree with what you said. I hope the below extracts from our Business Times can enlighten you on point 2 and that Singapore is not all that perfect.

Of course, if you get higher pay check, you are likely to pay abit more for goods & services (No GST in HK). Whereas in Singapore, you pay higher comsumption tax (GST) with your stagnate pay. Please enlighten me, which is of better value -
