SIA, Mediacorp/Mediawork, Temasek one by one will have to hype up their organization to accommodate such redundancies created due to psychological fear of internal mutiny.
Such policies carry a high price to the citizens who will have to incur heavy costs just to allow many GLCs affected to open, close and re-form themselves into a larger group to cut losses and redundancies due to non-performance of such ignoramuses.
Private sector will never allow any such ignoramuses to come in without real practical exposure to sit on top posts just handle paper works and plans which is the most far fetched luxury only engaged in by those using taxpayers unlimited fat funds.
Only those who have proven their real worth through real practical results will ignoramuses of such profile without actual performance status be given such presumptuous 5-figure CEO/MD positions just to look good. -

Seriously, Ng is a smart guy. He should be competent though not necessarily outstanding as a Temasek MD. Afterall, it will be his underlings that make investment calls. Ng will just "manage" his team. -
So if two different employees suggest two different investments, but he can only choose one investment. How is he going to make the decision? Flip of the coin? That's the problem with how Temasek is run. They will continue to make dumb investment decisions, because the top executives have no experience or knowledge about investments. -
