THE most PITIFUL THING about us is that we CANNOT even vote against the people we don't like. The GRC trick
makes it extremely difficult to have competitors so we cannot kick out the so-called leader or leaders whom we dislike. Sigh..... -

actually i think that mee siam mai hum was seriously a mistake. he probably said it wrongly la. but it does make sense to say that he isn't really in context with us, as in people, singaporeans. i don't quite see as much effort as i would like to lo. he should come out more and relate to us instead of sticking to the politics all the time. he is a busy man though i think.Originally posted by zix1:that is why i mentioned b4 he is not able to reach down to the level of the common people. just wonder why he is in for the job for? only politicians serving the people with their hearts and souls and place the people above their wants will come out more often to relate to us. I am afraid to say that so far I don't even see my MP doing this. He is new and yet he can't be bothered to conduct house visit or do anything to build rapport with the people. Problem with the ruling govt is they place themselves so high up there. PM Lee need some support from his dad to lead the country.
Has PAP meeting at the Zouk
Since MM Lee is still alive, Singapore is as strong and steady as ever.
It is still unclear what will happen to Singapore's future if MM Lee happens to pass away one day.
As far as I am concerned I don't put my respect on LHL
He only know how to raise the civil servants' salary and his salary too due to personal greed and entertainment.
It doesn't change even if he contribute more to charity from his bigger salary.
A greedy and naive PM will eventually destroy the whole nation -
ya for your talk about the lee hsien loong. But no for singapore's future if MM pass away one day. If my memory serve me right, he (MM) or others from PAP said that even if MM were to go they are still capable of leading the country.
