Basically, our govt is happily blowing their trumpets about how they should get 100% credit for what Singapore is today, and that we will become maids and labourers if we did not have them.
The rise of Singapore comes from many factors. Without the people, these leaders can't even blow their trumpets now. And yet, all they think about are themselves. Never once did they genuinely show their appreciation to the average Singaporean.
Without us, they can't give themselves super high pay. -

because you guys are very sure you get it right that PAP does not have the interest of the poor citizens when they make their policies, i think whatever i write or present (of course only my opinions and imaginations and not data straight from the heart of PAP) you will find ways to counter and some with good command of english will come in and bark at me like seow kia.
so instead, i shall focus on the bigger picture. In my OPINION, the baby boomers retirement is a big problems faced by the world's countries universally other than global warming. There will be many media reports of how bad the real situation is in the western and eastern countries. This will tell whether the PAP party has prepared well for most of our aging parents. Then we shall see.

MM in one of the interviews did mention that Singapore is small so easier to manage and given a big country may not be able to. I can't remember what programme is that. Besides the size of the country, the people in the country matter! If they were to manage Taiwan, huh, they will have lots of headaches. The people in Taiwan are so outspoken and they dare challenge the govt. IN singapore, majority are so "tame", so it's so easy to manage the people of Singapore. -

Locals are the ones who have to face the ssshhhitttt from the MIW, while these people if they don't like it, they just pack and go back. MIW are the ungrateful lot of people, we the citizens contribute to the country and yet they refuse to protect our rice bowls. All the lee hsien loong can say is upgrade upgrade. What does he know about what we are facing, there are people who have upgraded and yet can't find jobs. That's why I am still waiting for those who see the Govt as a good govt, to back up the policies they have implemented so far, and help the Govt explain their positions.
The govt always say it cannot afford to explain and explain and explain, coz it has to move fast to help Singapore, so why can't those whom think they are good, help them to explain to us poor citizens?
And with your above statement, you are sidestepping like what our ministers do. I am inviting you to raise your opinions on why you think the 4 topics I raised are justified, and as I mentioned, its open to debate. -
