Mercedes car owners fighting fro free parking

Can't understand why those driving a big car like Mercedes have to fight for free parking whenever there's one. Have encountered these many times already. Thought they are driving Merc because they want to project a rich image? If can't afford to pay for parking, don't drive such a big car lah!
