What is the job for our President?

  Ok I not sure for this, only heard it from sources and others.
  
  If anything happened to the country(like disaster... etc), he will have the final say?
  
  He also can check on the renevues?
  
  any more?
  
  But I think our current President is not so active and out-going
  
  He earned quite a lot per year
  
  Does not appear in the public often and mingle with
  
  Does not appear in television interviews often to Singapore, and most of the time he will speak on those topics that have been already told by the government....

  his only job is to jaga the treasury...meaning he holds the key to the national coffer....but it's for wayang ba.....can he stop the PAP from taking the money??...

  So far, of all the appeals to him from condemned convicts were NEGATIVE...
  unlike Ong Teng Cheong.... he has pardoned quite a few condemned souls who are now gratefully living renewed lives...

  It all comes down to money; if you know who is behind this "thriftiness"...
  it costs money to feed prisoners - particularly Life Terms...
  
  So in the eyes of the current regime, it is MONEY above all else...human or not...
