In another way, your statement is true in that it took the financial muscle of SPH to open the can of worms in NKF, when Durai made the grave mistake of deciding to take SPH to court for libel, which unravelled his castle built on thin air.
Is Jayakumar's present threat not similar to the Durai threat strategy of using the legal system to simply to slam the door shut on issues that are of Public Concern ?
A correction is to be made, Durai actually learnt from Jaya's Mentor.
The correct rephrasing should be ''is Jaya not using the tried and tested method of his Mentor in shutting out issues of Public Concerns - as similarly well learnt by NKF Durai ?''
In the current situation, ''1 PLUS 1 = 2'' is already a fact, but those with the Political Power decide to insist that ''1 PLUS 1 = 11'', and if anyone insist not to listen to this version of facts, will be considered to accuse them to be fraudulent; and the only way is to have lots of money to prove the ''Facts'' to be otherwise.
This is a Classic Catch 22 scenario.
