Fake degrees

A female exchange student was doing well in uni, gained her masters degree, etc. But then there was a scandal involving her and the vice chancellor. Scandal revolved around sex, abuses of power, and a divorce.
To save face, the uni gave the vice chancellor a golden handshake and striped the girl of her award. -

Why was she even involved in such a screwed up case? I guess she paid the price she deserved. -
These kind of cases are not uncommon, especially when tertiary education providers protect their own. Its all business.
Then again, out of 10 people who buys fake degrees, 6 would be chinanese, 1 singaporean, 1 thailand, and others are asians except koreans. -
