I am just going to give you the gist of it.
Talked about the lee family. Singapore is Lee's world. They are amazed that the Lees are in the prominant positions in Singapore (from MM Lee, LHL, Lee hsien yang, to Ho Ching). They don't see the same happening in Taiwan. Said that the former late President dared not do the same. Talked about Temasek as a govt owned organisation have not been publishing the annual / financial report (someone correct me if I interpret wrongly on this). Sue oppositions when oppositions talked about their weaknesses. Sue Far East Economic Review and ban them in Singapore. They mentioned about the super high salary of the ministers, four times of Bush's salary. Singapore has no democracy. Press is under control of gahmen.
They asked if the people of Singapore are happy living in Singapore.
the DPP are not happy that Mr Ma wanna take Singapore as an example to lead Taiwan. As Mr Ma stated both Singapore and Taiwan are different. Taiwan is democratic. He is not adopting the same approach as Singapore in the way he will run Taiwan. Personally, I don't really think well of DPP, they are not credible. But what they said about our "good" govt are all facts and reality. The more other countries know about our govt, the better it is. -

they have the media checking on the govt, which we lack here and I think this is useful and important. both the media and politicians are kinda trashy. the parliament is the worst.
Taiwanese are very frustrated about it and they basically have no respect for their politicians. -
And our's is losing respect year after year.... -

i read that this taiwan female MP wore a skirt and sat on the floor in front of the speaker's podium in protest and three male parlimentarians stooped down to peep up the skirt.
I think that will make politics very entertaining. This is exactly what we need, flashy characters ans scandals to make us an advanced democracy. -

Can't really catch their Taiwan Hokkien but I'm a bit curious about the title of the show "Da Hua Xin Wen", didn't watch this program before but is it a proper news kind of news or is it like entertainment style news like Quan Min Da Men Guo?
P.S, I didn't finish watching both, just skip here and there cause I'm in the office and I don't want to be sacked. -

On the international front, more of their "friends" are ditching them for Mainland, but that could be argued to be because of $. But even their closest friend, the US seems to be a lot harder on them nowadays, which I presume to be an indication of losing respect.
Unless of course your international refers to the good citizens of the world rather than the state players, in which case I have no stats and hence no comments. -

WE need more foreigners talk about it to bring the attention to the ruling govt.
The more countries of the world know about it the better. We are made living within the fence and can't seem to walk out. One question that the Taiwanese politician in the show raised really worth thinking - are the people of Singapore happy? Will seriously consider to leave when I am given the chance. -
