  In singapore, everything (utilities cost, transport cost, food, school fees, properties, minister salary etc etc etc) goes up except our salary everything goes up, where got go down one

  I read that singaporeans consume more feul per capita than even US.
  perhaps we can cut back our energy consumption before we start complaining.

  A good way to cut back energy usage is to increase tariffs. Hell, I suggest a tax on the usage of plastic bags at $1 each. That'll teach those who double bag items and ask to bag the most trivial of goods.
  
  One easy way to economic growth is to keep business costs low. One big component of business costs is labor cost. Keep labor cost low, and businesses will flock to Singapore and contribute to economic growth.
  
  Put 2 and 2 together, and what do you get?
  
  Stagnant wages and rising energy tariffs.
