from you frequent visit to this forums, I can definitely tell that your life in Canada is really nothing great really.Originally posted by Coquitlam:Well that's the gahmen for you here.....
Have you all ever noticed that when they come up with some grand policy like the 5 day work week....they always have 2 follow-ups for it...first is that they will trumpet their success to the whole world if it works....
And if it does not work.....they will keep it like low profile and scale down the operations of the policy over time...and then they come up with some statement saying that they decide to tweak the policy a little here and there and make it better.....never have you seen them apologize and admit that its a mistake or oversight on their part....they always have to be seen to be perfect, incapable of making wrong judgements...
No wonder many of us have given up on all the hot air talk and left this little red dot, including me....
Frankly, I don't mind an imperfect gahmen....so long as they come out in the open and admit and then try again...
Must be the stupid damn asian trait of saving face....save what face??
I did not say its great...but at least I am happier...I still have to work hard but I enjoy the intangibles here....you want to argue that I am not happier...who knows best except the person who is meOriginally posted by Gazelle:from you frequent visit to this forums, I can definitely tell that your life in Canada is really nothing great really.

My advice to you is, work hard and stop whinning, because you still have a long way to go before you can enjoy retirement life in Canada.Originally posted by Meilin86:Yes! I need some advices and links for beginners. Thz!![]()
Nobody is mentioning about retiring in Canada.Originally posted by Mat Toro:Canada is just too cold man! Not good for retirees.
