i've never vote for pap before. my vote went to opposition or i void it. depends on the quality of the candidate. if the opposition wants ppl vote they shd at least send candidates of resonable quality.Quite frankly i think any opposition politician that will get voted in could only produce hot air, any beneficial changes they would want to bring in would just get knocked down by the majority vote of the PAP.
i you run in my constituency i will cast a void vote. i dun like to vote for politician that only produce hot air.
Stevenson is right. Even if you are not a bootlicker as you seem to be and should you vote for me it will still not be enough as the ruling party MPs will still stonewall any good representation and outvote me and what I said will be hot air any way. So to everyone I am asking all to vote sufficient opposition or independent candidate MPs to produce a one-third strength to make their number felt.Originally posted by crazy monkey:i've never vote for pap before. my vote went to opposition or i void it. depends on the quality of the candidate. if the opposition wants ppl vote they shd at least send candidates of resonable quality.

losing a GRC is good enough to rattle them. its possible the teams send out by wp have put up a good fight. you never know when the GRC scheme backfire on themselves.Originally posted by Stevenson101:Quite frankly i think any opposition politician that will get voted in could only produce hot air, any beneficial changes they would want to bring in would just get knocked down by the majority vote of the PAP.
Even if by some miracle, the opposition could actually manage a majority in the parliament they will only find all their policies getting stonewalled by the PAP dominated bureaucracy.
That's the way i see it, at least.
Backfiring or not GRC is unconstitutional as it impedes citizens' right to stand for election as individual candidate or to vote for individual candidates of their choice due to unnecessary and unwarranted GRC obstacles being placed in the name of providing racial harmony on their free freedom to stand for election or vote for their best individual candidates.Originally posted by crazy monkey:losing a GRC is good enough to rattle them. its possible the teams send out by wp have put up a good fight. you never know when the GRC scheme backfire on themselves.
