Which part of reality? The part about life being hard? Isn't that what everyone wants? To be divorced and taken away from the harshness of life? The rich had it lucky and are up there in their satin-laced ivory chairs, but there is no reason to discriminate them for where they stand. They got ahead of the rat race, and by hook or by crook it doesn't matter.
so, what goes on in the minds of the 'elite' is shown in the writings of that little brat girl.. and various other writings in the YPAP... and elsewhere...

You elite-bashing people think that it's fun to put down the elites, but remember what happened with the Tax Laws, the very promise of bringing down the rich ended up a curse for the middle and lower class. The rich were never affected as they were safe under the protection of corporations.

Merit-based scholarship doesn't care if you are rich or poor, but whether you are good in academics or not. There is no distinction between rich and poor to them.
If you are poor, but qualify for merit-based scholarship, go for it.
If you are poor, but can't qualify for merit-based scholarship, go for a need-based scholarship.
But if you are poor, and can't qualify for either, get a student loan.
Simple as that. -
