I would argue rather that there are no inherently safe countries at all. Any safety you have is the product of eternal vigilence. As far as the threat of terrorism is concerned, I believe that both Malaysia and Singapore are doing very well. The job is easier for Singapore due to our shorter borders, but the job still does not do itself.
