Dear Mods,
This is a sincere plead to you to read what I have to say.
I'm a occasional contributer to Speakers Corner in Sgforums, logging in from time to time to keep myself update on the political scene in Singapore.
Previously, the Speaker's Corner used to be abuzzed with lively exchanges between fellow forumites. True, opinions differ time to time, but nonetheless engaging and allows insights into differing points.
However recently, (after a time of absence), I've noticed a common occurence in Speaker's Corner. I've seen promising threads derailed by a common person, Mat Toro. His contributions are plain senseless and often is flame bait. Even neutrals have taken to flaming him, let alone the ''pro-democracy'' camp.
Before you allow the Speakers Corner to degenerate further, I urge you to take action against this user (troll).

I sincerely hope that the taken course of action would not be to lock this thread only. We should do something before things get out of hand.

The fact you started this thread is a compliment to my efforts. I am effective in debunking all your dirty lies against the govt.
The rakyat is simply sick and tired of all the filth and crap you guys spew. We say enuf is enuf. We the silent majority singaporeans are hitting back by exposing all those lies and setting a high standard of debate accountability on this forum. If you cannot handle the heat, you can get out. nobody gives a damn to what that mat toro has to say, even he has the rights to contribute anything that he wants in this forum, and furthermore, even he is a pro government dog, i simply don't care at all, except that i like to remind him that, in this speaker's corner forum, almost everyone is not fully support the government policy, we just don't want to be like a sheep, waiting to be slaughter, if he wishes to be a sheep, by all means be,
perhaps one day, he will realise it himself, by all means, post whatever you want, we can't stop him from typing what he wants. why don't you be the graceful one, to pardon his ignorance, and just mock at his folly.
and lastly, we are not anti government, we are just common folks who want a better environment to live in, and is it, in our rights to ask for more welfare, better pay, isn't it what a government should do? Why should they ask us to be more understanding, and go along with their policy? we are not asking for a welfare state, but at least spare a concern for our needs, the increase of gst, have given to alot of business owner, an excuse to increase their price, and we have to suffer. If our pay was to increase as well, i don't mind the gst increase at all, but the fact doesn't turn out this well, and i can live with it.
I will not vote for such a government in the next GE, i want a government will spare a thought for our sake, i am sake and tired of listening to their same old crap - the economy is improving, we are getting better, if that is so, why is it, there are more and more people complaining and voicing out, because we quit being a sheep and to be lead by them, we are standing up for ourselves,
if they are not going to improve themselves, one fine day, their ivory tower will fall down to the ground, after all, we, the citizens, are the one, maintaining their well paid salary, it is the citizen that make up the nation, not the government, without the citizen, they are nothing, we can always vote for another government.
who is paying for their salary? WE, so they should improve our situation, protect our interest! -

I support you and agree that Mat Toro should be dealt with. He is not contributing positively to this forum. From what I see, he is creating nuisance here. Saying things but can't produce any proof of what he says. He is very fast to say things to put people down though people are stating facts. His presence here is really not needed.
Seems that his main motive to come to this forum is to flame people. I agree that this fellow, Mat Toro, should be dealt with. Bangkokboy, you are not the only one posting here who wrote to deal with him. We find him such a nuisance. He lacks objectivity and just go on to point fingers at people. He has nothing to offer here except crap!
