Exactly, when people are not capable, they should not insist that they are right when they are obviously wrong, because it will only backfire and expose their own stupidity.

Just stick to the topic and explain your positions and when people expose the flaws in your reasoning, instead of trying to understand the flaws in their minds, they take offense and flame.... and in so doing expose their stupidity.
It is not flaming if you can justify saying why someone is stupid and delusional and unethical and so on... but when you cannot justify it, you will only expose your gross stupidity for saying things without evidence and proofs. -

Some people can see the trees very well but they have no idea what the forest looks like and because they know very well, one tree, they think they know the forest. When they try to talk about the forest, they become very stupid because all they can talk about is the tree.
They use what they from knowing one tree to argue with people about the forest that they have no idea of.
They make a fool of themselves arguing with people about the forest, because they think that just because they know the tree, they know the forest. -

They are like the blind men touching the elephant.

They touch the elephant's tail, they insist that the elephant is like a snake.
When you try to tell them that the elephant is not like a snake, they get angry and start their name-calling.
