There is a subtitled version. Nothing much about Singapore though.....Lego-like buildings, communist govt, rigid thinking S'poreans haha....that's all.
If you agree that Malaysian police are corrupted, then I guess what he said about us is right too.Originally posted by qlqq9:Definitely, there is truth in the lyrics.
Without a doubt he is right about the gahmen and the people of Singapore. On the Malaysia part, only one thing I don't agree, the fact is there is Mandarin radio station in Malaysia, not all are in Cantonese, though I agree Cantonese is widely used when Malaysia is like Singapore with people from different dialect groups.Originally posted by maurizio13:If you agree that Malaysian police are corrupted, then I guess what he said about us is right too.![]()
The same is happening in Singapore.Originally posted by maurizio13:Interesting translation.
"In Malaysia, we practice what is essentially a one party democracy. Opposition parties exist and are allow to contest in the general election but there is no way that an alternative coalition can be form the next government. The opposition parties just donÂ’t have the campaigning machineries and unity to mount a serious challenge. So, the mentality of the Chinese is, better the devil you know than the devil you donÂ’t know. Fearing that if and when the government is changed, their plight will be even worse rather than improved."
