It is amazing that the poodle is wasting tonnes of money in setting up useless division that waste more money to perform valueless task.
Just like the "flag early" campaign.
Are the peasants really idiots or the poodle are simply incompetent in solving a simple problem ?
The division is set up by people who dun take the public transport and conducted by people who most probably dun take the public transport.
So, it is just another paper exercise of getting useless data and conducting meaningless survey.
To attract people to take public transport: - Reduce the fare. - Reduce the waiting time - Increase the frequency of the buses during the peakhour
Please dun set up another division to put up useless computer sign board to tell the passengers how many more minutes or seconds that your bus will come.
Common sense will tell you that the timing will not be constant due to traffic condition. Even so, there is nothing u can really do within the minutes or seconds.
It is clearly a suggestion from some paper generals that does not have any public transport experience and trying to score points the wrong way.
So, I see no purpose and value in setting up another wayang division if the poodle cannot even resolve the simple plight of the ever increasing fare increase.
Unless they want to cook up with some scheme to give the transport company some reason to pass the cost to the peasants so as to justify the fare increase.

No need to set up what division lar. Just use all that money, give it to the transport companies, so they can offset their fare increases for awhile. It will work more wonders than some promotional campaign.

Give commuters a choice
It's getting sickening of bus rationalisation to 'complement' the MRT leading to ppl forking out more for tpt expenses
As for reduce waiting time, I see the matter in three parts. One being demand, it's not necessary for every bus service to have 10 mins freq which if not done properly would end up with buses clogging up the bus lane for nothing.
Secondly, if other road users dun give way to buses or cause obstruction such as stopping inside the yellow boxes or parking on double yellow parallel lines, it's going to delay travelling time resulting in longer waiting time and snowball effect.
Thirdly is passengers themselves. I've often seen many refusing to move in and not moving to the upper deck. If it's not filled, bus operator would see from ez-link boarding/ alighting records that bus is not even 80% filled though people from subsequent bus stop could not board, they wun do anything about it one
