I have no problem believing that by the time I am old and feeble, the age when oldies like me are allowed to draw CPF is upped to age 80 and above.

Guess what? I won't work in Singapore if I have the opportunity to be a "foreign talent" elsewhere. Best part is, I'd rather stay there, than to come back and waste my money on some HDB flat.
I hope the next elections would see stronger opposition candidates.

so, the problem is, would u pay a little but u wont get anything back if u die before 85 or u would rather pay quite a sum per month den if lets say u happen to die before 85 but the whole amount u paid during ur life time goes back to ur family? -
Mmmh after reading all this, I must say that I am sad and disappointed at the way this current government is running the show. I am feeling more and more like a second class citizen in Singapore.
Anyway guys, those retiring can consider thailand hahaha. A nice condo with 2 rooms in phra Khanong area cost just 22k SGD, or 500 SGD a month. A VIOs here cost 22k SGD, or 250 SGD a month.
You can choose to be a slave in ''first world singapore'' or a king in ''third world Thailand''. All in all, the Singapore government doesn't want us anymore. -

and like all the other increases they jus gonna talk and talk den let ppl discuss when they already made up their mind. den the newspaper will juz publish a beautified summary that says we all agreed to the masterplan.
im determined to get my savings out of this country when i have a proper saving system next time. -

But I am confident that the majority have no worries about these changes and older cpf withdrawal. Singapore is what it is today thanks to their support.
