CPF annuity proposal a ploy, not solution

  I wonder if those local staying in other countries learnt they can only withdraw their CPF later, will this lead to a mass no of people giving up
  
  their citizenship to take out their CPF money?

  Seriously it doesn't make a difference if they give it up or not... they can do so anytime. Rather park the money there first... and when the time is right, renounce the citizenship.
