A friend told me a monk prophesized that when LHL takes over, people of Singapore will not have good life. Oh, how true it is happening. Life was not that bright before him, now we know it is worse than before.
The only way is to exercise our wisdom on election day. Do your part to help people get out. -

How do you know it is worse than before.
Bear in mind 66.6% are superpro PAP supporters, the rest 33.3% are only probably not happy with the PAP, out of which only a handful come on to sgF and complain. The few regular PAP bashers are not representative of the 33.3%. Just as Al Qaeda is not representative of all Muslims.
So how do you justify your assertion that the monk prophesy is accurate. -

It only been a year since last GE and LHL has managed to come up with so many unpopular mandatory policies (GST hike, ministers salary increment, ERP, CPF annuity, etc). I shudder at the thought of what other policies PAP going to come up next in the 4 years.

I don't have concrete proof, nor have I been extensively researching. However, I do have 6 or 7 friends in the govt. sector openly admitting doing so. Of course you can't find any potential candidate in SG cause they never get a chance to enter the parliament to prove themselves.
Over the past few elections, PAP introduce several "new faces" by grouping them with more popular candidates to compete in GRC during election during the election. Unfortunately, the opposition parties aren't able to get new blood in to prove their worth.
Even the presidential election is a walkover with all other contestants disqualified.
So, how do you know there aren't anyone more capable to take over LHL when they have hardly any chance to enter politic unless joining PAP? -

1.do you consider walkover as sure 100% PAP supporters.
2 you can also presume those who supporter the PAP are because it is CSJ in their area and not WP in their area.
3. is your philopshy of work is such that you only do countermeasure when problems happens. dont you plan or study in advance of the possibility of problems?
4. what i can deduce from this forums why there are more PAP bashers and PAP supporters is because the bashers know what they bashing for and the supporters cant find a reason to support the PAP thus remain quiet.

bro dont worry, i use to be a regular in the navy as well. been casting my vote for the opposition even CSJ. got my promotion and at the last year even reject promotion because i had to extend 6 mths. its time for you to realise singapore arent that corrupt and you should not live in fear. your believe is urban legend, and young ppl like yourself shouldnt be so ignorant.

bro, you are my senior. i serve in one of the MCVs .ORD in 2000. even though you vote for the PAP but at least you know what you are doing. for that i respect that. in SAF it dont link promotion to politics. i still serve my reservist, country and i dont link SAF to PAP.
time for some young regulars to grow up and realise it.

You vote your choice, many also vote according to their judgement. Some vote on heresay, some rumours, some on hate. But whatever the reason, still 66% of the vote casted goes to the PAP. The opposition have their officials invigilating at the elections too. So why the beef when the PAP win.
Do these civil servants want special consideration when they vote?
What if their choice, like yours, is the PAP?

The serial number on ballot papers and recording of voter's registration number made it traceable as to which party I have voted in the election.
