the cleanliness of water has to do with 2 factors:Originally posted by kY|e-_-o:we drinkin shit? oh come on.... i tink our purification methods are safer and A TRILLION TIMES BETTER then urs anyway.. juz like wat tripwire had mentioned earlier.. ours at least had a US water certification for world class pure drinking water....wat u got?..
whenever i had to stay in malaysia...i had to boil the @#% water before i drink...cos the water from the tap has a #%@#% yellowish colour to it!and ur water tasted terrible anyway..
btw...i would think drinking newater is much better then drinkin the water we had to buy from u... why?the river from which we piped our water from MAY in fact be the malaysians' lavatory ! the villagers may do their everyday stuff in it and shit in it and piss in it.... u can say we are drinkin their shit even now.
well... i at least prefer to drink my shit instead
pls dont say the grapes are sour when ur country are NOT CAPABLE of producing this grapes..
And further more, your authority is actually earning its citizen hard earned money without subsedising even mark up profit..somemore try to tell his ppl that we Singapore over charge them thus led to the expensive cost of water. I think Dr M can go back to his old line selling roti prata lah.... I might drop by his home town to eat his prata if he goes back to his old line.Originally posted by HARIMAU:Fucking sg (only for those whose post such immature and stupid things)-are the ones full of shits.Question: Who's drinking their own shits now?Malaysians or sg???![]()

I'll think twice about going to eat Dr M's roti prata. Who knows whether he will wash his hands after cleaning his poo-poo or not. I sure don't want to eat his shit.Originally posted by sugardaddy:And further more, your authority is actually earning its citizen hard earned money without subsedising even mark up profit..somemore try to tell his ppl that we Singapore over charge them thus led to the expensive cost of water. malaysia is obviously a nation run by monkeys....Originally posted by CX:Hey people!
they're trying to pull a fast one again... now they wanna change their law so that the premises for the old water treaties will not exist anymore and they can not recognise it...
http://straitstimes.asia1.com.sg/topstories/story/0,4386,151002,00.html?
according to datuk rais, ''the law of Malaysia remains supreme and supercedes all agreements made''...
now... is it my misconception or has he forgotten something called "international law"... and the elementary concept that treaties not signed under duress cannot be revoked unilaterally without consequences on the party breaching its terms?
thay are good at this what. I was thinking when does all their degree and Master and PHD come from...maybe all in malaysia not English lor so they do really understand it.... what a shame.Originally posted by EXCO:Dishonour themselves somemore. Good.
well... this is wat you get... when you have monkeys as leaders...Originally posted by CX:ok... i'm so terribly confused at this time now...
just a while ago, they said they wanna backdate the payment of water to 1986 because they believe they can exercise their right to review prices anytime after 25 years...
intention: raise the price of water and seek compensation for "underpayment" by Sg. aka. earn money.
now, they want to pass a law banning sales unless they've got a surplus thereby "superseding" the two agreements with Sg enabling Sg to seek compensation for any failure of obligation to the treaty.
intention: not sell water to Sg but end up paying Sg to not buy its water![]()

aka. lose money.
and the funny thing is... wouldn't the compensation be based on the selling price of raw water? so the more they demand to be paid now, the more they'll have to pay us if they fail to deliver if the new law is passed
or the alternative is, the loss we incurr as a result of the loss of water: the difference between the cost of M'sian water and alternative sources. So they'll be subsidising our NeWater plants to make us NOT buy water to them.
more interestingly, if M'sia supersedes the 2 treaties with legislation, they won't get to buy treated water from us too... and we all know its cheaper for them to do so but their foolish pride won't allow them to admit it...
bottom line: they'll pay through their nose to make Sg self sufficient in water because they refuse to sell us raw water and they'll pay more for treated water they process themselves...
its a lose-lose situation to them, but they don't seem to mind... how bizarre...![]()

Either he is getting inaccurate force projection abilities about his chief of staff, or he didn't got a proper briefing in donkey years about SG strength. We had advanced somewhat beyond the poison shrimp concept. In my view, more of a pirana, small but with a lethal bite.Originally posted by Anza Andy:Dr M Said,
When asked whether this would mean that international agreements could be changed, he said: 'Well, international agreements have been broken before. I have seen people go to war even, which is not by agreement.
'They don't go to war by agreement. They don't say that this thing cannot be resolved so they go to war, but they still go to war. I am not talking about going to war with Singapore, I am just giving an example.'
This is the first time he mention about war with Sg. I think he is crazy.
we are already far superior in military terms... they bought new stuff true, but they were upgrading obsolete equipment while Sg consistently spends to make sure that it has a credible operational capability all year round.Originally posted by Anza Andy:I think Dr M said such a comment just because country M brought some great miliitary toy. I argue the SG government to spent abit more on defence. So that SG will be far more military superior then M in order to gain more stabilty in the region.
True enough singapore military spending apparently consider one of largest in the world in GDP terms.Huge potions of the fund goes to defense R & D and military procurement.Your worry proof unfounded.Originally posted by Anza Andy:I think Dr M said such a comment just because country M brought some great miliitary toy.
