If the staff of town councils issue warning notices to shopkeepers who display good on corridors similarly to the (high handed) notice issue to the cyclist who parked at a undesignated place,the problem should be solved long ago!

my town council no power.
I complain twice that my neighbour smoke in the lift cause I saw it with my own eye and he smoked in front of me. I asked him to stop and he will do the mouthing of my words and act immature in front of his also smoking wife and 3 -4 kids. He's a bloody gangster. Town council did nothing.

Unauthorised places are usually common property. These areas are usually maintened by the town council. People want to have convenience.Even if the staff of town council ride a bike, he would probably do the same thing.Just because the bike is parked at unauthorised place and they want to throw it away.Isn't it too much?
Is a bicycle very ugly that become a eyesore?Do the town council staff have the legal right to throw other's ppl property away?
Yes, town council has the right to remove your property if you fail to heed the notices. -
I note cyclists can park their bikes in town council properties but can't park in MRT station indiscrimately -- even when the location is empty and hardly used.

A community club has a no entry notice for m/cycle & bicycle.It is a big compound,but the managemenst think that small bicycles are not allowed to park inside.Only think of themselves and not others.This is the attitude of the CC.

Can you name the places you want to be allowed to park you bicycle.
I see you are angry you cannot park in MRT stations and Community Centres.
You want parking to be improved. Are you willing to pay?
Can be done you know. Coupon parking for bicycles.
Also pay extra, can have uncle valet park for you.
Control yourself, and park properly lah.
If everybody do so, there will be no problem.
The TC only goes after those who suka suka park anywhere.
Its their job. Because there are other people, who complain that bicycles are being parked helter skelter.
