It's kind of like expected. 4 people in front of the CPF building with placards can send down a whole police team, when it's not even by definition an illegal gathering.
To workaround, they probably can cycle indoors... which is damn idiotic. Sports shouldn't be indoors.

Dear all,
We must "understand" that political parties are always the exception rather than the norm.
Hence, when people are not interested in joining political parties, I "understand" but the PAP leadership is left scratching their heads because their recruitment process at the activist level is stalled by this same lack of interest.
This does not apply to ministerial level as they have decided to use high salaries to attract and retain them to counter the lack of political passion that is preeminent.

WP should start organising non-political activities where no political issues discussed. This could make them more visible to the masses.
At least, WP should not be no doing anything or appear only at election time.
I think many like to get to know more about the WP members and what kind of person they are, their styles and vision for singapore.
Can an activity be not allowed if it is about non-political issue? Like how to cycle as a group? I wonder. Is it really so impossible to organise an activity? -

Perhaps the most interesting part about this whole affair, is that the PAP, as usual, writes the laws as it goes along when it sees something potentially hazardous to its own image or beneficial to the opposition.

I am not surprised about PAP practising double standard. They are practising double standard all these years.
Just look at the issue on salary. MIWs who are over 60 are still getting fat salary, no salary reduction. For the ordinary folks, PAP said for those who are 60 and above who are working are to receive salary cut/reduction. Widening of income gap - they are the ones who raised their salary so high (highest paid gahmen in the world) which widens the income gap, ironically now they are talking about doing something to it.
Thus, this ruling party has no credibility. They are making it more and more difficult for the people to trust them. -

I really support Sylvia Lim and Low. Goh Meng Seng impressed also but he left?
If WP given the same rights to use so much money to hire top talents, I am 100000000% sure WP will have even more people of the same competency as Sylvia and Lim to run a GRC.
PAP has the money to hire . Not difficult to attract talents at all. Comparatively, WP does not have the money and yet manage to find a few good men and women. That shows they are committed and really work hard at talent recruitment.
I support the WP because I see a need for stronger opposition and WP has arrived. They are good enough now and time has come for them to expand further. -

Metropolitan city. It means more diversification in terms of race, cultures and most importantly VIEWS. If everyones only have every view the same and say YES YES all the time, then, its a problem, not a blessing.
