...completely. The way to make them accountable for their actions is to kick a couple of the ministers out of parliament. Sure, let the rest of the PAP candidates win so that PAP is intact but kick out Ho Ching's wife, for example, for introducing the casino, raise GST and raise their million dollars salaries with public money.

Please vote for me in 10 years time, I am going to become a politician, people said i got the potential because I quite similar to PAP, such as always promise the good things when need you, such as before election time, but after election time pass leh, DO the bad things when don't need you anymore, such as raise GST for their bonus lah, already millionaire ministers but still want to eat our money... And put up funny rules that dictate/control how we use our hard earned money (CPF)... So please vote for me in 10 years time.

Indeed, being a politician in singapore can give you the highest salary in the world for this field of work. Much more than USA or any European (Euros!) leaders. Winner can do the same the rulers doing : GRC system. ERP, COE, voting system very accurate with serial number, offer scholarship to 'employees' children (like this encourage them work better lah), put their people in high positions to 'oversee' and 'ensure' everything 'done nicely'. Like this their 'employees' will be kept very happy.
Control things the way things are controlled. How to loose unless people vote against?
So, instead of aiming for toto, the young should target for a job as a politician of singapore since it has the world's highest salary and second place is far away.

yah, sure... 5 million people and 500 politicians... you do the math, whether it is worth your while to aim to be a politician and apparently once people get power, they become monsters... I am sure people are not so desperate for money until they are willing to sell their souls to the devil, are they?

For once, hopefully soon, I want to feel the elation here in aljunied GRC, the same elation the majority of the people in potong pasir and hougang experienced. I live in Aljunied GRC, and I felt tears of joy jerking out my eyes when Low and Chiam retained their seats on polling day last years. Yea soppy I know, but its the truth. -
Need to get rid of a couple of big guns then they will start to become accountable to the people but you need to assure the people that the party will continue to be in power...
Need to sell this idea effectively until it gets inside the skins of Singaporeans.
Get rid of a few of the big guns but retain the party. Luckily we have the internet to help us promote this idea. Might not work, but we have to try. -
