The only good deals are the laptops, good specs + good price. Most hover around $1500 to $2000++.
Even the usually expensive Thinkpads are hitting $1000++ price range.
Warranties also improved. Rather than the usual local on-site warranty for 1 year, most have started offering international on-site warranty or international carry-in warranty, with another 1 or 2 years that are local, which you have to bring it service centre yourself.
Thumbdrives prices went up. Bloody hell. Last time I saw a 1GB thumbdrive at $20 or less, today it's at $20++.
There's also another thing. If you buy direct from the company (e.g. Sandisk), the price is expensive. If I'm not mistaken, I saw their 1GB thumbdrive at $60++. But if I were to go Sim Lim and buy from a distributor, it costs only $30++ or lesser.
Overall, nearly all prices went up. I don't know if it's GST or what.
External hard disk prices are roughly the same as the last IT Show, and if there's any hint that their prices drop, no.
I like the X-Fi thing there. Almost like cinema experience.

And if girls wanna go, please remember to bring a guy. It's very sexist there, unless you meet a female promoter. They treat you as glass.

Forget one thing, there are 3 floors to cover. Happy walking. Last floor is mainly Sim Lim and Funan retailers.
