Keppel, Singtel, OCBC, OUB and other large corporation -
If these CEOs are financial whiz kids, then they deserve the huge salaries.
If the businesses are managed by academy trained generals, what can we expect?
Has anyone heard of any general who sends a division of say 12,000 troops to battle and and has a return of more than 12,000 troops? No, always less than that.
In business, can expect the same results, in monetary terms.
My theory makes sense or not?

But Pte firms very unlikely will hire an ex-general to helm the organization.
The public is more concerned about them holding high posts in GLCs.
