Ok, because in the past elections Paul Keating and Simon Crean had been pushing for 15% Super. I silently hope Rudd wins this one and see whats the impact of that as there had been a lot of debate going on. While i watch from Singapore that isOriginally posted by fymk:Frankly I don't know. Are you aware that Australia has 8 States and Territories? Are you also aware that it is a federation with 2 tiers of government - State and Federal? Are you also aware that it is a huge continent country with 20 million people?
So if I don't see her name on the newspaper - she is a nobody. As for your concern, there are actually ASIAN MPs in Australia sitting in Federal and State parliaments.
Yes a racist politician got elected, kicked from her seat, jailed and then she is still trying to pick up the pieces ....and lowering her tone about immigrants - epic phail. Guess what? She is not a person I would worry about.
it sounds like anti-asian immigrants is a popular topic in australia's politics, like a mosquitoes' humming sound, very irritating. they dont like asian immigrants and at the same time dont want to kick them out. what the f.uck.Originally posted by kramnave:John Howard, Kevin Rudd.
a lot of Singaporeans want the "Foreign Talents" out of Singapore as well.Originally posted by Daddy!!:it sounds like anti-asian immigrants is a popular topic in australia's politics, like a mosquitoes' humming sound, very irritating. they dont like asian immigrants and at the same time dont want to kick them out. what the f.uck.
the difference is singaporeans have no voting/political power while australians have. in other words, if the aussie whites go bersek, then the gates are open.Originally posted by kramnave:a lot of Singaporeans want the "Foreign Talents" out of Singapore as well.
Things are actually not that bad there..sure you'll get some snide remarks once in a while but if you look like you are going to cause them some bodily harm, they'll actually run. Cities like Melbourne and Sydney are actually pretty cosmo. Sydney feels like Singapore as it is as packed, fast paced and they have as many Asians.Originally posted by Daddy!!:the difference is singaporeans have no voting/political power while australians have. in other words, if the aussie whites go bersek, then the gates are open.
Before you open your big mouth again. Go google up all the 8 state and territories for their MLA ( members of legislative council) and the federal members of Parliament.Originally posted by Daddy!!:it sounds like anti-asian immigrants is a popular topic in australia's politics, like a mosquitoes' humming sound, very irritating. they dont like asian immigrants and at the same time dont want to kick them out. what the f.uck.

I migrated to Australia through John Howard's time. Kevin Rudd also speaks fluent mandarin, FYI he did chinese studies when he was a student.
Senator Penny Wong - Adelaide
John So- Melbourne ( your so called friend was complaining about racism in melbourne?)
Hong Lim - Melbourne Politician
Bill O Chee - Queensland
Daddy!! is just trolling. He just enjoys making remarks about Australia which he cannot substantiate. As for the Sussan Daddy!! was making so much noise about - she is the chair of the Friends of Palestine which appears to make her anti semitic to the pro zionist Jews. So guess what she ain't that racist at all. She just supports the Palestinians.Originally posted by kramnave:Things are actually not that bad there..sure you'll get some snide remarks once in a while but if you look like you are going to cause them some bodily harm, they'll actually run. If you intend to migrate for retirement however you would be looking to go someplace like Perth unless you have $$$.
what if i come back and substantiate that in 2003/4 there was a politician who championed along racist line and got/nearly got elected? what says you then? i am getting pissed off by your remarks, fymk.Originally posted by fymk:Daddy!! is just trolling. It is the perfect example of how some people who never been out of Singapore could take things out of context and stereotype an entire country. Just like how racists stereotype. Comments like that are akin to racist remarks and they both stink of ignorance. Hence Daddy!! is no better than the racists he speaks of.
You claimed your friend told you about a 2003/2004 survey and now it is a 2003/2004 politician championing racism? Which is it? Your friend tell you this , your friend tell you that. Then you proceed to call politicians names.Originally posted by Daddy!!:what if i come back and substantiate that in 2003/4 there was a politician who championed along racist line and got/nearly got elected? what says you then? i am getting pissed off by your remarks, fymk.
LOL My oh my - how tables turn when people who twist the truth get the carpet pulled under them.Originally posted by Daddy!!:it is you, fymk, who portrays such sickening image for australia. phew!
so a scholar like you write so bloody, says so much of australia's sponsorship. australia govt should not have given u that scholarship!
I think having ugly singaporeans like you in Australia will diminish the image of asians.Originally posted by Daddy!!:i used to think that this house near melbourne is nice

Either way it doesn't matter who wins. Many want to see a fresh face instead of John's face. However if Labor fails in the next 3 years after they get elected, I don't expect them to get re-elected for the next 10 years.Originally posted by kramnave:Ok, because in the past elections Paul Keating and Simon Crean had been pushing for 15% Super. And by the way ,didn't you just say that you prefer to go to USA?
Sudden change of heart to suit the twisted truth?
LOL , assumptions assumptions ...who said I am ex Singaporean? How am I racist to you? Once again get your facts straight and check the dictionary on the definition of racism. Don't play race cards with me - I am not caucasian.Originally posted by Daddy!!:LOL
didn't i say, "I used to". of cos, australia is out. an ex-singaporean shooting a singaporean unprovoked. it shows how racist u are.
Now, by your unsolicited bloody choice of words against me, i know how a ex-singaporean will behave as an australian. RACIST fymk.
you STARTED the personal attack = what a lousy person you are.
So the fact remains is that you are actually making racist comments under the pretext of discussion. Let me reference it for you - take a look at what you said ( I bolded it for you) .Originally posted by Daddy!!:ok then, who the bas.tards are John and Kevin ?

i guess america is much more "mixed" in race and open while australia is dominated by whites and closed. what the hell, still talking along racial lines in politics NOW ?? Which country huh ? i am shocked that with current exchange in information and education, such thoughts exist in english speaking commonwealth countries.
do u know that mandarin is taught as a second language in ALL state schools here? heheh...Originally posted by fymk:You should thank me for calling you a troll. I myself will be moving up to Queensland. I stayed in Sydney (as a student before becoming a PR) /Melbourne/Canberra . Been in Australia since 2002.Originally posted by fishbuff:Wah... argue for so long. last time before i came here, i used to have such concerns too. but there are laws here that are anti-racism, ageism, anti-workplace bullying and harrassment. no one here can work 12hr/day unlike those days that i worked in NCS where 12hr/day is a norm or work till 5am in the morning for days on end.
errr..i wonder how many of u did live here for a period of time? well, it is your individual choice to live where u deemed fit and your own comfort zone.
next month, i will pop by movie world, dream world, sea world for some family entertainment. then move up to sunshine coast to the clean white sand and beaches.
big wide open space, clean air, relaxed environment.... ah... i love it here .
yea, melbourne was my 1st choice too.Originally posted by fymk:I myself will be moving up to Queensland. I stayed in Sydney (as a student before becoming a PR) /Melbourne/Canberra . Been in Australia since 2002.
Basically I thought moving around would be fun ....but I rather get back to Melbourne after my stinct in Queensland ends . Melbourne gives me a more homely feeling.
