Things are actually not that bad there..sure you'll get some snide remarks once in a while but if you look like you are going to cause them some bodily harm, they'll actually run. Cities like Melbourne and Sydney are actually pretty cosmo. Most of the policies they proposed are short term fixes - at least John Howard admits it to a certain degree but Rudd does not.

Wah... argue for so long. last time before i came here, i used to have such concerns too. but there are laws here that are anti-racism, ageism, anti-workplace bullying and harrassment. no one here can work 12hr/day unlike those days that i worked in NCS where 12hr/day is a norm or work till 5am in the morning for days on end.
errr..i wonder how many of u did live here for a period of time? well, it is your individual choice to live where u deemed fit and your own comfort zone.
next month, i will pop by movie world, dream world, sea world for some family entertainment. then move up to sunshine coast to the clean white sand and beaches.
big wide open space, clean air, relaxed environment.... ah... i love it here . -
