No, you will not. There is no law in Singapore that people wearing black shopping or waiting for taxi will be arrested. They chose a very good spot . Saturday evening, in the bustling centre of orchard road, and the most common colour code worn by most people. Ever wonder how many people get called back for duty to go orchard road to take pics of people wearing "partly" black attire?

Dear All
The event was a great success. This is the first time I saw so many in black at Centrepoint and Orchard Road.
Walked along the shops at Centrepoint with my friend, we saw in almost every shop there were customers wearing black. WE saw many aunties/grannies in black, Muslim wore black tudong and baju, children in black, uncles in black, promoters in black, youngsters in black. Most of them were happy and smiling. My other friends who went before me told me they saw reporters.
We also saw MIW supporters who mumbled some unkind words and as they were approaching Centrepoint, they said that place is a dangerous zone.
We went and came back safely, so there is no need to fear. Wearing black shopping in shopping malls is not against the law. I did not take any photo so as to protect the identity of the people present there.
Before we left, there were still so many in black still shopping in Centrepoint, and some of them were there appreciating the performance by the Chinese orchestra. On our way out, saw quite a number of people in black entering Centrepoint. If you have intention to go, it is still not late to go. You can go there tonight.
Today is a historical day. Indeed, it is a success and this is only the beginning.
