There is not sufficient publicity, so all the more people should not have unrealistic expectation that blah blah blah. It was circulated through the net and not in other form of communication. Hope the next time, they will do more on publicising the event. Just to add, event was extended to other shopping malls as well but again with limited publicity not many know about it. My friend told me he went to Raffles City and saw many wore black, Raffles City was one of the venues for the move.
Would you think then that the reach of the internet is too short for singaporeans?
Or singaporeans who visit these forums either just to read or post are only a handful due to apathy?
From the above 2 possible reasons, I think the internet reach is far but the singaporeans are not interested in their own country's policies in that they let the policy makers do what they 'is good' for them.
Maybe this is a new form of 1st world'ism ? Maybe the most developed countries citizens will soon evolve into singaporean mentality since we so 1st world?
Why the info was not known to many? was it a trap to identify the faces of diss? If so then it certainly did the trick successfully! Trap by who? I cannot say nor do I know. Can be any crazy man.
I am not supporting these events but just posting my observations.
