Labor party in Australia. They plan to increase Superannuation contributions if they are elected. They deem the current rate to be insufficient for Aussie retirement savings. Full details go internet and search. You can monitor the American elections also. They don't go around doing nothing but taking a loudhailer and ask you where is the money.Originally posted by Trump_Card:I'm not being skeptical ... but can you name some examples for our convenience ?![]()

What will happen? Huh?
It's the economy, stupid!
No I don't mean that. I am trying to say, what most of us need is a JOB to have an income.Originally posted by royston_ang:Don't understand what you are getting at...![]()

MPs are PAP's puppets.Originally posted by royston_ang:No debate means we have to accept everything the ruling party propose. If this is the case, there's no need a waste money on the parliament or hold election. Why pay mp to debate in parliament when everything already decided?![]()

I feel sorry for you too. Your inability to think, if you feel so good about being a hamster in a cage, it's entirely your own volition, but I choose to differ, that's why having a democratic system is more suitable for me.Originally posted by rojak12:If you are feeling this way yourself, I feel sorry for you.
May I know what limited human rights made you feel so terrible?

Every decision which the gov made can affect our daily life and livelihood so we can't afford bad decision. Which is the reason why opposition voice is important in the parliament. Every policy should be carefully scrutinized and debated, and the public concerns considered and addressed before implementation.
Supporting PAP doesn't guarantee strong economy and low job rate, neither do supporting opposition. I would rather have both PAP [b]and opposition in parliament so as to ensure that there's less cases of "paying millions more to keep ministers from being corruption free" and "increasing GST to help the poor". I am very happy. Thanks for your kind regards.Originally posted by maurizio13:I feel sorry about you too. So long as they get their food and water.
Don't see any point in telling you what will make me happy, because you do not have the ability to make it happen.

OK, to be exact some of the 66.6% are fearful voters. Of course, among this 66.6% there are people who went all the way for the oppressive regime.Originally posted by kramnave:fearful 66.6% ? what a term to use.
At least, China has better labour rights than this regime - for a start, they have a variable minimum wage policy that commensurates with the living standards of their respective regions.Originally posted by maurizio13:We are much like China, good economy but limited human rights.
