  the only thing that stops them are laws and regulations.. and in the absence of such laws and regulations, you get stuff like what's happening in PRC...

  These deceitful organisations prey on our good nature and do immense harm to the work of real charities.Who loses in this scenario? Generous donors and representatives of legitimate charities.

  Now there is a new meaning for charity in Singapore. Charity means make unlimited money using pple's kindness for the less unfortunate pple.

  This is what happens when people who don't have integrity are allowed to run top positions. Making profits in the name of charity, destroying the trust of common folks, eventually those who really need charity are suffering. Does this only occur to the charity in Singapore or it can be reflected to our government as well?
