i guess to them, a man wallows in misogyny and chauvanism while a woman is a militant feminist?
that seems to be their stand..
looks like our PM marrying a man hasn't changed the idiots' point of view
and some asswipe parents are amazing in their ignorance.. they actually think that homosexuality is a disease which their children can catch
well, to adopt a pet from the SPCA, you have to show you are a responsible owner.. but any degenerate irresponsible bigot can have children
This problem stems from Singapore having too many delusional people around.Originally posted by Kyndred:Thank you to the person who placed the link to the original "letter" that Otto wrote.
I think everyone should read the article before blindly commenting on the idea of the article.
He mentioned something in it that stuck me to be cruely true.
In school and outside school, there are very few avenues for a homosexual teenager to turn to for help and guidance.
And this in turn creates misguided individuals (some..not all) who get fingers pointed at them through out their lives.
You breed them....so that you can condemn them. Good job.
If schools are to remain solely for academic purposes then i suggest almost all schools to take the time to "restructure" their already in place school mottos that boast fact like "grooming and polishing young minds and hearts"
Anyways, the "gay agenda" has been discussed so much recently....especially in Singapore....i sense a big change coming soon...despite all the efforts from small minded people to nip the supposed "problem" in the bud.
I look forward to what i expect to be a big breakthrough for Singapore's overall development.
Why would someone who did something on purpose should get another one who didn't do it on purpose to be responsible?Originally posted by kramnave:Yes.

Yes they have lovers and they are born gay. He took down his confession because his students chanced upon it. So why put it up on the blog in the first place ? Blogs are accessible by anyone.

x2 to second paragraph, perhaps its because people think that its "abnormal" or have the concept that gays lack self-restraint or something to that extent.Originally posted by Rock^Star:If this invitation of backlash is necessary for society as a whole to mature, then so be it.
The key is: a heterosexual is no different from a homosexual as both have sexual orientations, albeit differently. If the latter is deemed as a danger to students of the same sex, then so are the heterosexuals to the opposite sex. And it is high time that society realises that.
You obviously haven't learnt how to think out of the box. Typical of scholars. I can only feel so much pity for the system.
would the students parent be? maybe petition for a sackOriginally posted by oliverpang:Contrary to popular belief, the teacher is nt going to be dismissed. The school can't even be bothered.

"Laws of the land"Originally posted by oxford mushroom:If most Singaporeans object to homosexuality, then the laws of the land must reflect that. If the majority of parents do not want their children to be taught by gay teachers, then the government must pay heed to them.
Those who are always trying to push the gay agenda must learn that unless societal norms have changed, they are only inviting a greater backlash against their cause.

He has not broken any law.
MOE can just transfer him to teach in a girl's school.
