If not mistaken, the guy got hit by a baton round. From the looks of it, its the solid wood variety. This type of round is meant to be "skipped" off a surface upon delivery to a target. Not trying to be a munitions expert here, but from the looks of it, it does seem that the round/s was fired directly at him or he was pretty close to the ricochet caused during the rebound.
Wonder will SAF be activated to evacuate our people under the watchful eyes of our ADF and CRF guys. -

Sadly, as much as it is in a First World Country - as it is in a Third World country - there are always goons working for the Government.
In the First World Country, we have educated goons willing to do the dirty biddings of the Government; while in a Third World Country, the goons are fed and looked after by the Government and released like a pack of wild dogs to protect the Master's interest during crisis time.
Singapore has as much to be ashamed of its own records to deny legitimate rights of the Citizens to assemble in public to voice our own grienances.
Singaporeans are similarly shackled by the same type of Government legal and illegal tactics in dealing with dissidents and public protests.
Does this Singapore Government have any moral right to tell the Myanmar junta what is acceptable ? -
