The joke among the policies is "7% GST is used to help our low income Singaporeans." What an ironic and stupid reason to increase their own income.
The GST reduces the need for individual income tax. It also helps the poor because the richer people buy more goods. By doing so, the rich pay more GST. If you are poor, you buy less goods and you pay less GST. So, the GST falls mostly on the rich. Get it? -

Frankly speaking, it is quite hard to judge whether someone is PM calibre or not. I mean we can evaluate him based on his success or failure, but until you are a PM yourself, it is hard to judge.
Ho Ching's case shows that even someone with a low CEP score can have great potential.

As can be seen from the above URL, the individual income tax rates have been declining. This is made possible only due to the increase in GST. The GST shifts tax from individual income to goods and services. This allows the country to have such low income tax.
The less well-off need not pay income tax but only GST. Also, since the richer people spend more, they will pay more GST. So, the less wealthy people do benefit.
The GST taxes the rich more and reduces the need for higher individual income tax in the whole country. So I guess it helps most of us. running dogs or not nowadays a bit hard to say lah poor people now cant think well is becos money is harder n harder to earn n how to feed the family
oppose the gov poor people dun scare
but the rich dare not cos anything can happen to them house confiscate account freeze.
but if u join the gov ur life a bit better but have to pay money first lah
thats why u notice saleman nowadays rather resign work other line cos gov want to bring up service standard but "rich" people demanding how to make living -

Well, you must understand the nature of dogs.
Dogs are always dogs. No matter what, they are always faithful/loyal to their owner.
It doesn't really matter how abusive their owner is to them, as long as they are fed with some bones regularly, they are more than willing to do whatever it takes to protect their owner.
