Accountant fails to show up for work, then...
She's FOUND DEAD in her bedroom

WHEN the 25-year-old accountant didn't turn up at work on Thursday, her manager called to check on her.

Realising that she was still in her room, the family's maid knocked on her bedroom door repeatedly. But there was no response.
Finally, sensing something was amiss, the maid asked a neighbour for help.
They prised open the door around 4pm and found Miss Chen Xueli lying on her bed, reported Lianhe Wanbao.
Miss Chen lived in a flat at Yishun Ring Road with her family.
The maid told their neighbour that Miss Chen's manager had called to ask about her when she did not turn up for work.
The neighbour, Madam Chen, then took a spanner and forced open the bedroom door.
Madam Chen said: 'I was shocked at what I saw. She was lying face-down in bed. I turned her over and saw that her body and lips were discoloured.
'Her hands were also cold. She was already dead.'
She then called the police and informed Miss Chen's mother.
It is believed that Miss Chen had suffered from fits before.
Her younger brother said that their maid had tried to open her door but found it locked.
He said: 'My sister has a habit of locking the door when she goes to sleep. The maid knocked for a long time but there was no response.
'That was when she went to our neighbour for help.'
FRIENDLY AND FILIAL
Madam Chen described the deceased as friendly.
'She was filial and was close to her mother, a businesswoman who travels frequently for work.
'But whenever her mother returned home, they would go for karaoke sessions together.'
Miss Chen's family was at the mortuary yesterday to claim her body.
Said her father: 'When she got back from work on Wednesday, she was still happily chatting with her friends on the phone.' -

But the payout must be from 60 - 65 years of age for it to be meaningful. -

the payout is from 60~65 I thought
The only difference is that it continues to pay out after age 85 when your CPF reserves would have run dry (20 years payout from CPF)
but since it is less per month compared to from CPF, you would have to live much older than 85 for it to be well worth -

Whichever is the case, the growing sentiments & notion amongst Singaporeans, is that they have squandered most if not ALL of our CPF & are now dishing out lame policies to delay pay outs.. or as they would fancifully term as Draw Out.. -
This is so sad. I wonder why we Singaporean are been forced to work so hard from day to night to cope with the costs and pacing.
Yet we are underpaid. Shi* and fu** the boss.
I am thinking there are more victims on the streets, the problem is that they don't have the guts to speak up. Bring the Pain to work. See the sad faces on the MRT, you will know.
