  Propaganda would be less insidious if it is only promoting patriotism but when it's promoting a political party or worst, one individual and if together with the militarist intonation then it is no good.

  If different sources repeat the same propaganda, the effect will be better.
  
  For example, it is well-known that Iraq has no weapons of mass destruction.
  
  But USA and UK both spread propaganda in the months leading up to the invasion of Iraq that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
  
  In this way, many naive and gullible people actually believed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

  Advertisement is propaganda. Religious sermons are propaganda. Anything done or said to propagate an agenda is propaganda.

  I can only dream that the news editors testify for us to prove once and for all that the press and media are not propaganda machines. That they only report pure truth and nothing but the truth without any bias whatsoever and the way they report is not catered to any group of person or a person's requirements or wishes.
  
  Only the Editors know. Their livelihood depends on them holding on to their job or not?? i no no leh. They so sacrifcial themselves and serve the public and not themselves. So selfless and daring to report the truth hor.

  From the moment language is created, propaganda has existed alongside it. The use of words to suit one's ideas is propaganda.
