Is it right for HDB to make tonnes of money by selling public housing?
Or they are right to squeeze money from citizens as they need to support their lorries of over-staff bums? -
The cost of an HDB flat is artificially high. Yes, itÂ’s the main reason why CPF is insufficient for many people to depend on for retirement.
I think people also fail to understand why after taking such large chunk of their retirement savings, the govt still impose so many indirect taxes upon them.
No accountability by the govt on how the money was utilized on public expenditure. -

think... what if HDB sells houses cheap cheap on the market.. and its repercussion on the economy as well as the wealth of singaporeans. -

However, the real earnings for the government come from the plot rather than the flats. HDB will show you red figures if you ask them
