Basic Principles in MPs and Ministers' Pension Schemes?

Whenever people talk about pension scheme, the basic principles would always be: to compensate the government employees for long-term loyalty, below-market salaries or some other criteria.
The important issues no matter what other talent the MPs or ministers may have is to use commonsense and to debate in front of the whole population when taking this kind of monies like millions of annuities for life of retired MPs and Ministers whether they are prepared to be honest to want to follow such basic principles.
If these basic principles cannot be followed then what principles they now want to change and add to the traditional pension scheme should be put forward for all to accept and not just by their own MPs to avoid conflicts of interest. (remember Durai and Richard Yong were charged in court for such taking or self-rewarding of wages and bonuses and benefits)
These has to be the same accountability and transparency when MPs and ministers are taking or approving their own salaries, bonuses and life-long pensions when citizen employees are not entitled and even have their retirement CPF drawdown date postponed from 55 to 85.
If there is no explanations again then this kind of taking is daylight robbery.

i am really getting disappointed with PAP selection process.
Getting the so call elites, pay them millions so that they can come and rip us the commoners ??
or asking these scholars to add bells and whistlers to schemes that had been around for some time.
