You are a little bit more sensible here. Any scheme when first mooted or implemented cannot be the perfect scheme. It takes time to learn and adjust. Actually, I am agreable with the annuity scheme, compulsory or otherwise, I disagree only with the drawdown age. It should be in the range of 65 to 67 (max 70).
Therefore, I vote I disagree.

In other words, the concept or principle is good but the scheme has to be well planned. You can read the rest for yourself. So, don't just agree or disagree without some balanced research. If you listen to one party only, then you are delusional! -
An annuity scheme, whether its beneficial or not, should be left up to the individual to decide. Its just like starting a family. Its a personal decision. It is my life I am risking, why say I cannot cross the road where I wish? I know the rule is beneficial but in a democratic society you cannot make a decision like as thought I am a kid. I am no longer a kid and I know how to cross the road but I want to cross where I want to.

When you cross the road without using the pedestrian crossing, you endanger not only your life, but others as well. With that, its of course correct to impose a law to tell you to cross at a pedestrian crossing for the safety of everyone using the road.
