What are the oppositions offering to us Singaporeans.

Im not into politics , but i as a commoner would like to know what are the oppositon parties offering to us... ???
And pls explain in layman terms , not in highly chim political terms.

why ask such a question when the commoners only give very limited chance to opposition party members?currently there is only Mr low thia kiang,Mr chiam see tong and Ms Sylvia Lim heading the opposition in parliment.With only the 3 of them,their voice matters so little as the govt is formed majorly from PAP. So if the commmoners do not give a chance to the opposition,dun expect the oppostions to offer anything substantial back as they have no/little power to go against the self approved,no feedback allowed PAP.
So,unless you voted for the oppostion,dun come ask such a question....... -

And what type of attitude is that , telling ppl to butt off unless i voted for them , so the only way to find out what they are offering is to vote for them ????

Don't understand why called them oppositions, where they are just political parties just like PAP. Anyway which party you are asking for?

they have been working hard for their constituency... and therein, we know they are earnest.. and right now, that's good enough
in the past and also now, there are many out there who think that supporting the opposition no matter who it is is cool and all that.. but they forget what you have asked..

some offer their services, an alternative to the MIW, and they are willing to work for the people and work hard for the people..
some.. don't offer much except a rant or two.. some stunts... appearance during the elections..

A genuine voice in parliament? Imagine if there's no opposition in parliament, there will be nobody to question the PAP's policies. And there will be more and more instances of raising the ministers' pay to prevent them from being corrupted or raising GST to help the poor, and the yet claiming that the majority of the people support it!

It is not my attitude,it is the way your question is asked.You asked what i deemed was an invalid question since the oppostion are not in power.So i just replied you based on that that they cannot offer much cos they are not in power.So dun blame me.
If you dun want people to reply you in ways you do not like,next time phrase your question in a clearer way.Beside it is true that if you did not vote for them, you should not be asking what they are offering.
Anyway i only vote oppostions i deem worthy and my only chance was a choice of choosing the clown chee soon juan.I deem him unworthy so i did not vote for him and also since i have not voted any oppostion b4,i will not ask what they are offering me. Plain and simple. -
At present, I don't think they have made any plans yet (I might be wrong), if they already made plans, isn't it more akin to counting your chicks before they hatch. The opposition still has some way to go before winning more than 50% of the electorates. It's an uphill task when local media tend to play favouritism when it comes to political agenda. Currently even thou the opposition may not be great in coming up with alternative plans and such to bring greater benefit as compared to the PAP (but well we never know anyway since they were not given any chance but at least they are doing what they can in the name of the people as compared to the PAP who has long forgotten the people,the very one who voted them in.That alone is something great they can offer if more of them worthy opposition get voted into parliment.
But until the day i actually give them the vote,i will not expect stuff from them since i know they are up against heavy odds inside parliament.Hope that during the next election,they can field good candidates -

from the leaders, you can see what the party is capable of offering too... their leader shows the way and the principles of the party..
you will see some people being dropped in the next elections as they have disgraced their party..
and you will see some people continue to pander disgraceful "policies" as a party platform...
by giving your support for those you feel will be able to serve the country, or to be able to inspire others to be better able to serve the country, you also serve the country..
and here, the country is not just an entity but the country is the people..
your vote is your duty to your country...
and the country is way more important than anything, it is greater than mere gratitude for past works, it is greater than mere party loyalty, it is way way WAY greater than how cool it is to "support" someone..
it is your country.. and your people.... it is We, The Citizens of Singapore... -

A leader who righteous and trustworthy. Working hard to serve for the people. A leader who is able to build a strong government that can take on any opposition party at anytime anywhere. A government that is able to crush and wipe the rival out easily.
Economic
The government who are able to build a strong and rich economic, the economic that are able to fund Technology R&D which create product sellable worldwide in time of peace. It must be able to generate huge financial reserves 10 times better then China and Japan, that are able to defend any form of currency attack, and economic crisis. It must be flexible enough to fund the type of industrials that being needed just like the Meiji restoration did in Japan. It can also be transform into a Nazi war economic in time of war.
Technology
A government that is able to produce another Islamic Golden Age that is stressing the value of knowledge, and became the unrivaled intellectual center for science, philosophy, medicine and education. To established a "House of Wisdom" in Singapore; where scholars sought to translate and gather all the world's knowledge.
Military
To build a mighty military that is as deadly as the Nazi, as scary as the Japanese Imperial army and equips them with the latest advance weapon.
Colonialism/ Gobalization
Building a Singapore culture that is able to influence the Arab Muslim, the Russian communist, the Europe republic and the American democratic and make them all kudos to us and follow us. Culture invasion is better then force invasion.
