A slap on Chan Soo Sen's face?

  now, we know chan soo sen is the only minister in recent years to get fired, blatantly. after election immediately lose his ministerial post. after that go and be the personal assistant to chairman of keppel. demote like mad.
  
  now they introduce a second grassroots adviser to joo chiat. is it a move to show that he's totally useless? go suzhou, suzhou fail. go education, education sucks. go anywhere also cmi. president's scholar leh.

  well he left politics on his own accord, to join NOL. what happened thereafter is another story, but NOL did earn record profits under him if i'm not wrong.

  well most who retire are past 60, like lee yock suan. chan soo sen in his early 50s is too young, and people who retire at this age usually go to take on high posts in GLC, such as david lim, yeo ling hong and dhanabalan.

  the thing is NOL is a good size company so it doesn't necessary need him to earn record profit it could be just economic boom and infrastructure that was established prior to him joining the company.

  He could have talked less and work more to prevent Joo Chiat from being another red light area.
  
  He did not realize that citizens are actually not taking kindly to showmanship without ability like Sim Kee Boon. Those MPs or ministers who constantly try to show off their hypocrisy or debating skills will meet their match some day.
  
  They better work more and talk less to help lsolve problems faced by the people like lowering costs of living etc if they want to stand on their on feet.
