  Tax from rental income is different from property tax where IRAS arbitrarily sets a Net Annual Value (NAV) and imposes tax from that value (even though you are not deriving any rental income and your family lives in it).

  Aiyah, everyone has different expectations and outcomes lah. Whether one likes a country or not, stay there few years know liao. No point comparing..becoz there is nothing to compare..as it is, alot of people like Singapore but there are also alot who are dying to get out....same for Australia lah..
