Govt,why doesn't you check on your own services to the ppl?

The govt audits the taxi service and even send mysterious men to check on the service.Why doesn't it do on its own public services?It should.The ppl they serve are the boss of the govt because they can vote in general election.

PRP, perhaps you would like to write a letter to the dear "capable", "loving" PM to express your concern that they should be checked.

Do you see what's flawed in your suggestion?
Asking the government to check on ITSELF. Why don't you do away with public accountants altogether and let companies audit their OWN accounts? Same logic you're applying.
Your suggestion also stems from an assumption that the government has the interests of the people at heart. This assumption may work some of the time, but it clearly fails when you look deeper, beyond the 'more salary -> good governance -> good economy -> good for citizens' spiel they've been spouting.
A theoretically good method of checks and balances is in place. It's called ELECTIONS. However, the current process is currently too corrupt and flawed to be of any use. Government should be afraid of its citizens, not the other way round. -

Yes, it is true and it should be that the gahmen should be afraid of the citizens. Over in Singapore, the money minded, self centred, tyrannical despots have come out with rules laws to protect their self interests, to serve their hidden agenda to make people of Singapore fear them. These are bunch of despicable, evil despots who we have to be clear of their motives so as to stand firm for ourselves not to let their scare tactic affect our decision in voting. Of course, the oppostion MP & backbenchers of the ruling party can check on the govt services.Would the opp. MP do that?Or they would rather prefer the govt service is so bad so that the ppl won't vote for the ruling party? -

what happened to my gf today when she wanted to get a letter from MOE for some application:
Go MOE (which part I not sure) ask for letter
MOE directed her to finance department
Go Finance department ask
Finance department said they are not in charge, ask her go back to original place
So went back original place, tell them Finance department says not in charge
Got directed to HR department
Go to HR department, HR department ask her why come over, say not in charge
