Just know that since he become PM, need to increase ministers' pay to prevent them from being corrupted, increase GST to help the poor, increase ERP to help Singaporean own car, etc.
So if he's in SAF, wonder what ridiculous idea he will come up next. -
If you are not one of them well connected by relationship as published in another website of who-is-who in Singapore you will not smell those high posts paid a million dollar.
Those who make it on their own without political ladder are extremely few such as spotted by MNC and they are still not getting the million dollars until they have proven their worth with launching of some successful products or making of big profits.
Try on your own to study hard and get a PHD or first class honors in something and apply for a million-dollar post somewhere and see whether you would get it before 35.
Only the public sector but very rarely in private company will you see people with double honors in maths get that kind of salary unless he is extremely well connected as published of connections to political leaders in that website.
An alternative is to be lucky to be introduced to someone who are high up on the political ladder for using the public taxpayers' monies there will be no problems in creating a positions somewhere in departments or GLCs to get such high salaries.
Other than the above-stated political route be contented to be a lecturer in the university with a market salary of S$10,000.00 pm if one is a little lucky to get the post. -

It is natural to give post to family members, in Malaysia, Burma, USA, in fact all over the world, they practise like this, if the PM is not Lee, assume is other ppl, then he will also give benefits to his family members, even Bush gave contracts to his cronies.
