LHL incompetence to encourage Singaporeans to have more baby

Lee Hsien Loong admit that his encouragement to make Singaporeans born more babies policy has little effect.But does he knows why???Why Australia government encourage their ppl to have more babies is much more successful than Singapore PAP(Pay And Pay) government?
It is becoz he and his father dictatorial ruling and other relentless taxing on the citizens that make Singaporeans relectant to have more babies.In other words,it is becoz of Lee Hsien Loong and his father incompetence that lead the "Born more baby" policy to a tragic failure!!! -
The govt is already panicking over the low birth rate by the local. U have to understand the fact that the govt acknowledged 800 locals migrated to
other countries each year. Former civil servant, Ngiam tried to say that quality of migrants is more important than quantity. -

malaysia poor families can afford to have more children. whereas in sg NO ONE bother wif it n all the government can do is import more foreigners. -
its not as simple as Jo Teo or LHL like to make it out to be.

You know what Lee Hsien Loong and his father hope for or not?They hope that Singaporeans will born more babies,then they hope that of the 3 races,namely Chinese,Indian,and Malays,Chinese will born more babies.Then they hope that highly educated and earning Chinese to born more babies so that the genes will be good,the low educated n poor Chinese can no need to care about them.

reduce the GST, transports fare, ERP, income tax etc. stop importing foreigners here. reduce all ministers salary by 50% and the money goes to the needy every year so we won't be seeing charity show every month on tv. if only they can do all of the above first.

Wow, in less than 5 minutes you have listed down the whole policies of government. They give you the cash even if you are a single mother
And even those druggies get pregnant for the government handout for the baby which they use to feed their habit
And guess in the end who are the people feeding these people who are already on social support?
The tax payers -
when compared to the lows of the past years, it will seem to have increased. But still the total number if you can provide the number, might still be small. And even with that number, it must be broken down to Citizen and PR and non Citizens as well as race and age groups to see the correct picture. In statistics, its talks about generalizations. Therefore, to really know the situation, is to know the details. To manage the situation is not just to think, oh birth rates are up. But if its non-citizens or PRs who are contributing to the increase, and they can at any time uproot. Therefore, its only a temporary solution. I even ask Malaysians our closest neighbours (PRC and most other foreigners were also asked the same question) why they didn't want to become Singaporeans. The reasons they gave were staring at our face. Though our papers like to only publish the select few who choose to stay here. Most are here either as stepping stone to better careers or just to make money due to exchange rates and retire home bringing their locally born off-springs back there as well. Singapore is just a good hotel for them to trash up and leave. Who cleans up after them? Who benefit from these people? The whole situation of local citizens not giving birth is summed up above by another poster and perhaps more reason that are not because of economy and numbers. How about the intangible thing call emotion. Ask any local born Singapore citizen if they feel emotionally attached to this land? Do they see a bright future for themselves and kids? Do they want to retire here? Do they foresee a harder time in future? Will they be able to survive given the current political party were to continue for the next 20-50 years? etc. The total environment, macro, micro and everything in between - and now people are given a choice medically if they want to bring a next generation into this land knowing what they know about the system, politics, economy, world, future and about themselves - perhaps, just perhaps, people lost that confidence in the future because they are finding it so much harder to just survive now. -

It is the duty of every citizen of whichever party afiliations to have the courage to stand up and criticise the government for any mistakes and shortcomings you at the end will truly benefit.
If you are with the party and lacking the courage to criticize your own MPs let the people do that for you without too much hindrances. -

Its not patriotism. Its painfully simple. You miss the point a while mile and a half.
Just as stocks, if you see the stock is not going to benefit you and might make you lose money. You will not buy. Its the same situation here. If people saw a Win-Lose situation where they are the latter, people will not invest in this country if they have the option to choose.
You think Singapore are not worried about kids ending up in similar situations as well? You think singapore do not have drug addicts, rapist, serial killers and more? Perhaps more rampant cause of Asian mentality to hide the shameful things. These things are not just australia's issues. What is not reported in the news does not mean it did not happen.
I can tell you in the old neighbourhood I stay, there are lots of fights and such things but no one even bother to call the news. Its in Singapore if you want to argue about it.
